Interview conducted by Malcolm T. Pappan as part of the LDS Native American Oral History Project by the Charles Redd Center for Western Studies at Brigham Young University on 9 April 1990. Cinniginnie, a Navajo, talks about growing up in the Shiprock/Farmington, New Mexico area. He tells about being raised as a Navajo and about going to school. He describes his conversion to the Mormon Church and his mission to North Carolina where he worked with Blacks and Indians. He talks about his relationships with white Mormons and his views on separate or integrated wards in the Mormon Church for Native Americans.
